On Thursday, May 31, members of Tahoe Search and Rescue gave an informative presentation to 3rd through 8th grade students at St. Teresa’s School in South Lake Tahoe. Greg, Matt, Scott and Domino taught the students how to prepare for a safe trip in the wilderness area and what they should do should they become lost. Scott and Domino presented a search dog demonstration where Domino successfully located 2 simulated victims. All kids received whistles or pocket compasses and got a chance to handle the different gear we use in our operations.
